Rachael Chandler

Rachael Chandler is a skilled medical writer currently employed at Oxford PharmaGenesis since January 2022. Prior experience includes roles as an Associate Medical Writer and Laboratory Demonstrator at the University of Reading, where Rachael supported undergraduate teaching and mentored project students, earning AFHEA professional recognition in Autumn 2020. Rachael's doctoral research, funded by a Parkinson’s UK PhD Studentship, focused on the molecular mechanisms of neurodegeneration associated with VPS35 and LRRK2 mutations. Earlier experience includes a position as an Open and Applicant Day Faculty Student Ambassador at the University of Surrey, and a Research Assistant role at the University of Cambridge, contributing to studies on host-pathogen evolution while completing a BSc (Hons) in Biochemistry. Rachael holds a PhD in Biomedical Science from the University of Reading and a BSc from the University of Surrey.
