Sarah Worley-Hill has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Sarah began their career as a Lecturer at Beijing Foreign Studies University, where they taught courses on American History, Western Civilization, Study Skills, and Academic Writing to Chinese students planning to study abroad.

Sarah then transitioned into the development sector, working as a Communications and Development Intern at the International Network for Bamboo and Rattan. In this role, they created and maintained an organization-wide project database, assisted with project dissemination, and wrote tenders.

Sarah then worked at BRICKS Great Wall Appeal as a Grants Coordinator, managing grant writing and providing consulting and capacity building support to projects. Sarah also volunteered at BRICKS, delivering capacity building training and coordinating grant application preparation and fundraising.

Sarah gained further experience as a Project Manager at DEVELOPMENT Solutions Europe Ltd., where they managed tender applications and business development in the New Business Division. Sarah also worked as a DS Project Manager for EC projects, including capacity building projects for the Competition Commission of India and the Thailand-EU Policy Dialogues Support Facility.

Sarah then served as a Consultant at MyDocumate, a company that provides tailored support for individuals applying to undergraduate, Master's-level, and PhD programs. Sarah'sresponsibilities included developing the business model, promoting the company to top-level Universities in China, and providing strategic support to clients and tutors.

Sarah continued their consultancy work at The FG Academy, where they assisted in preparing business strategy, liaised with clients, and maximized business growth and potential in the elite boarding schools and universities sector in Britain.

Sarah joined Oxfam as a Bid Manager, working closely with country and technical teams to pursue high-value, strategic grants, tenders, and framework opportunities. Sarah was brought in to expand Oxfam's funding portfolio and develop country teams' capacity in prepositioning and tendering. Sarah later became the Campaigns, Policy & Influencing Team Funding Manager, responsible for managing funding for the team.

At Cardno Emerging Markets (UK) Ltd, Sarah worked as a Framework Contracts Manager, leading the SIEA Lot 1 and managing the Lot 4 under the GFA Consortium. Sarah oversaw funding calls for various lots and project managed opportunities awarded, responsible for expert identification, due diligence, and negotiation with partners, local partners, and experts.

Currently, Sarah is the Head of Business Development Systems at Oxford Policy Management. Sarah is responsible for developing and implementing new systems related to Business Development and Bid Management. Sarah also provides guidance and capacity building to consultants, Business Development, and Bid Management staff across the headquarters and country offices.

Throughout their career, Sarah has demonstrated expertise in business development, bid management, grants coordination, project management, and strategic planning in both the non-profit and consultancy sectors.

Sarah Worley-Hill completed their high school education in Environmental Science at the North Carolina School of Science and Math from 2001 to 2003. Afterwards, they pursued an undergraduate degree at the University of Oxford from 2003 to 2006, majoring in Ancient and Modern History, earning an MA (Oxon). Subsequently, they attended Keele University from 2007 to 2008 where they obtained a Master's degree in International Relations.
