Carolyn Abbey

Carolyn Abbey has extensive work experience in the real estate industry. Carolyn is currently serving as the Vice President of US Operations for Oxford Properties Group since January 2022. Prior to this role, they were the Director of Operations for the US Region at Oxford Properties Group from September 2014 to February 2022.

Before joining Oxford Properties Group, Carolyn worked as the Managing Director of Operations in the US Markets at Cushman & Wakefield from March 2013 to July 2014. Earlier in their career, Carolyn served as the Vice President of Asset Management at The JBG Companies from February 2005 to June 2009. In this role, they managed a $650 million portfolio of hotel, office, and retail properties, with a key focus on hotel assets and working closely with hotel management to ensure profitability and long-term value.

Carolyn Abbey gained experience in asset management and valuation at Arthur Andersen LLP from 2000 to 2002 and at Lend Lease Real Estate Investments from 1997 to 2000.

Their career also includes roles at Ratcliffe, Cali, Duffy, Hughes & Co. as a Senior Associate in Commercial Appraisal from 1991 to 1994, at American International Group as a Senior Analyst- Underwriter from 1988 to 1990, and at Metropolitan Life Insurance Company as a Senior Analyst- Underwriter from 1987 to 1988.
