Sarah Shackelton

Sarah Shackelton has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Sarah is currently working as the Chief Talent Officer at Oxford Science Enterprises since January 2022. Prior to that, they spent a significant amount of time at Abingworth, where they held the position of Partner, Marketing & Talent from April 2004 to December 2021.

Before joining Abingworth, Sarah worked as a Consultant at Coulter Partners from 2002 to 2004. Sarah also worked as a Sr. Associate at Spencer Stuart from 2000 to 2002 and as a Consultant at Ken Clark International from 1998 to 2000.

Sarah's career began in 1988 at the U.S. Department of Commerce, where they served as an International Economist and Trade Negotiator until 1996. Sarah also worked at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) as the Acting Director, Commercial Programs (US Directors Office) from 1994 to 1995.

In addition, Sarah has experience as a Director at MGK International Trade Consultancy from 1995 to 1998. Overall, their work experience showcases a strong background in talent management, marketing, and consultancy, with a focus on the science and trade sectors.

Sarah Shackelton attended Pomona College, where they pursued a BA degree in History, Economics, and Politics. Later, they enrolled at Princeton University to obtain an MPA degree in Economics and Politics.
