Athene Blakeman

Athene Blakeman is the current Head of Legal at Oxford Sciences Innovation. Prior to this, they were the Managing Director of Advanced Nutrition at Benchmark Holdings plc from January 2019 to June 2021. Athene was also the Group Legal Counsel at Benchmark Holdings plc from August 2014 to June 2019, where they were responsible for legal and compliance matters. Prior to that, they were a Foreign Legal Associate at Anderson Mori & Tomotsune from January 2013 to March 2013. Athene was also a Solicitor - Senior Associate at Travers Smith from October 2010 to August 2014. Prior to that, they were a Solicitor at Slaughter and May from September 2004 to September 2010.

Athene Blakeman pursued a Jurisprudence degree at St John's College, Oxford before completing a Legal Practice Course with a focus in Corporate and Business Law at the Oxford Institute of Legal Practice.
