Adam Parr

Adam Parr is the Chairman & Co-Founder at Oxford Semantic Technologies. Adam has over fifteen years of experience in the mining industry.

Adam started their career as a Summer Intern at Iluka Resources where they shadowed the company Metallurgist observing production of heavy mineral sands. Adam then went on to work as a Mining Engineer at Luck Stone Corporation for five years. In this role, they were responsible for the quarry planning, design, permitting, and operations for one of the largest aggregate mining companies in the United States.

In 2012, Adam transitioned into the role of Global Direct Sourcing Engineer at Oldcastle. In this role, they were responsible for global direct sourcing of crusher wear parts. Adam then moved into the role of Head of Global Direct Sourcing - Americas Materials at CRH in 2019. In this role, they were responsible for leading a team that sourced $1.5B in spend across North America.

Adam has a Bachelor of Science in Mining Engineering from Virginia Tech and a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School.

Adam Parr has a Master of Business Administration from Florida State University and a Bachelor of Science in Mining and Mineral Engineering from Virginia Tech. Adam is also a certified Professional Engineer from the State of Virginia.
