Lauren Mates (Dalsky)

Lauren Mates (Dalsky) is an experienced TESOL teacher with a strong background in teaching English as a second language to diverse student populations. Since September 2015, Lauren has been providing ESL instruction to middle school students at Lamuth Middle School. In addition, Lauren serves as a Teacher Trainer at Oxford Seminars, conducting workshops for prospective ESL teachers, and has built a successful career as a self-employed ESL tutor since December 2013, designing tailored curriculum for various proficiency levels. Previous roles include Virtual English Coach at ISUS and Associate English Teacher at ELS Language Centers in Cleveland, among others. Lauren holds a Master of Arts in Applied Linguistics from UMass Boston and has complemented this education with a TEFL Professional Certificate and a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Affairs from Lafayette College.
