Dr Beyit Barakalı

RF Antenna Engineer at Oxford Space Systems

Dr Beyit Barakalı has worked in a variety of roles since 2011. In 2011, they were a University of Sheffield Second Year SHIPS at Tata Steel Europe, where they worked as part of a group to solve a problem for the company. In 2012, they were an intern at Bayrak Radio and Television Corporation North Cyprus, where they worked on the maintenance and repairs of television and radio transmitters and receivers, as well as multiplexing in mpeg4. From 2016 to 2020, they were a Graduate Teaching Assistant at The University of Sheffield. Most recently, they have been an RF Antenna Engineer at Oxford Space Systems since 2020.

Dr Beyit Barakalı obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Wireless Communications Engineering from The University of Sheffield in 2019. Prior to that, they obtained their Master of Science (MS) in Wireless Communication Systems Engineering from The University of Sheffield in 2014. Dr Beyit also obtained their Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from The University of Sheffield in 2013.
