Amanda Boehm

Amanda Boehm is a seasoned editorial professional with extensive experience in publishing and cancer research. Currently serving as a Senior Managing Editor at Oxford University Press since October 2010, Amanda oversees editorial processes for a portfolio of journal titles, ensuring the integrity and efficiency of the peer review process while implementing best editorial practices. Prior to this role, Amanda worked at the National Institutes of Health, where responsibilities included managing the Journal of the National Cancer Institute and conducting significant research on recombinant vaccines and immune responses in preclinical cancer models. Amanda holds a PhD in pathology, biology, cancer biology, and molecular biology from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, as well as a BA in English and Biology from Washington & Jefferson College.
