Karen Hopwood

Karen Hopwood has extensive experience in human resources and organizational development, currently serving as the Head of Organisational Development at Oxfordshire County Council since December 2001. Previous roles at the same council include Learning and Development Manager, HR Manager (Skills and Learning), and Talent Development Manager, among others. Prior to joining Oxfordshire County Council, Karen was an Account Manager at Bartercard UK and worked as an English Teacher at the International Language Academy. Karen holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Psychology from the University of Hull, achieved between 1988 and 1991, and attended Stratford on Avon Grammar School for Girls from 1981 to 1988.
