Sodiq Alabi

Sodiq Alabi is an experienced communications professional currently serving as the Communications & Engagement Officer for the A40 improvements programme at Oxfordshire County Council since January 2023. Previously, Sodiq managed digital communication and social media for one of ICRC's largest operations from May 2019 to October 2022. Sodiq also held the position of Communications Lead at Paradigm Initiative, overseeing communication and public relations across several African countries from 2017 to 2019. Additionally, Sodiq co-founded Beef Plus, leading marketing and operations from July 2015 to January 2018, and served as Communications Manager at I-Media, facilitating external and internal communication. Earlier roles include Communications Officer at Isu Media Limited and a Legislative Intern at the National Assembly of Nigeria. Sodiq's educational background includes a Master of Arts in Media, Ethics, and Social Change from the University of Sussex, an MBA in Marketing from Ahmadu Bello University, and a certification in Public Relations from the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations.
