Luqman Aden

Luqman Aden has a diverse work experience history, having worked with various tech companies as a software engineer and intern. Luqman began their career as a software developer intern at BlackBerry in 2012, where they helped develop C++ API components and build infrastructure for the BlackBerry 10 SDK. In 2013, they worked as a mobile QA intern at Mozilla, where they developed manual and automated test cases against Firefox OS and addressed various issues with the build and testing infrastructure. Later the same year, they were a software developer intern at Yelp.

In 2014, Luqman worked as a research intern at Mozilla. Luqman then worked as a student research assistant at the University of Waterloo in 2016, where they worked with Professor Werner Dietl on pluggable type systems with Checker Framework, implementing more detailed explanations for programs where annotations could not be inferred.

Luqman joined Microsoft as a software engineer intern in 2015 and returned to the company in 2017 as a software engineer II. In this role, they worked on the Windows VPN client and platform spanning low-level kernel drivers, system services, private/public APIs, 3rd party plugins, and a dash of UI. Luqman also worked on Accelerated Networking for Virtual Machines on Hyper-V hosts.

More recently, Luqman began working at Oxide Computer Company as a software engineer in 2021.

Luqman Aden obtained a Bachelor of Mathematics degree from the University of Waterloo between 2011 and 2017. The degree focused on Computer Science, Combinatorics & Optimization. No additional certifications are listed.
