Michael Arthur

Michael joined HM Forces as an Apprentice in 1974 and went on to complete over 23 years’ service, leaving in 1997

Mike’s career path swiftly moved into Health, Safety, and Environmental Management. He worked on Food & Retail Contracts with ISS Food Hygiene until early 2001.

Later, in the same year Mike joined ISS Defence / MOD contracts as an Area Manager and in 2007moved to Interserve, as the QSHE Advisor to the Department of Health FM Contract where he also trained as one of the Divisional Behavioural Safety Coaches. Between, 2010 – 2012, Mike was responsible for the HS&E mobilisations for some of the National and Local Government FM Accounts won by Interserve, with clients such as DSA / VCA, MOD and Local Government Council Contracts in the London boroughs of Lewisham, Sutton & Wandsworth.

In 2012, Mike became Compliance Manager for the newly formed MITIE Compliance business where he worked with its IT Programmers developing their Compliance Audit database for bespoke Statutory H&S & Fire based Audits.

Mike joined OXIS Energy in 2014.
