Jack Aked

Jack Aked is an experienced Senior Laboratory Technician currently working in the Fall Armyworm R&D department at Oxitec Ltd since August 2020. In this role, Jack Aked provides support to lead scientists through experimental design, data collection, insect rearing, and laboratory maintenance. Previously, Jack Aked served as a Study Support Specialist at Covance from February 2020 to May 2020. Jack Aked completed a Master’s degree in Molecular Medicine with a focus on Molecular Genetics at the University of Leeds in 2019 and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from The University of Manchester in 2018.
