Renata Dias has a diverse work experience in regulatory affairs, with a focus on the pharmaceutical industry. Renata began their career as a Regulatory Affairs Analyst at Medley Indústria Farmacêutica, where they prepared registration dossiers for medicines and cosmetics. Renata also provided executive reports and controlled product renewals. Renata then worked as a Regulatory Affairs Coordinator at Febrafarma, where they harmonized proposals from different pharmaceutical entities and negotiated with the Brazilian Board of Health.

Renata later joined SINDUSFARMA as a Regulatory Affairs Manager, and in this role, they harmonized contributions from pharmaceutical companies and negotiated directly with the Brazilian Board of Health. Renata also conducted monthly training on new regulatory rules. Renata then moved to GlaxoSmithKline as a Regulatory Affairs Manager, where they focused on the registration and maintenance of OTC medicines, cosmetics, medical devices, and nutritional products. Renata also represented GSK in trade associations and worked to change the Brazilian regulatory environment.

Renata continued their career at GlaxoSmithKline as a Senior Regulatory Affairs Manager, with a strategic focus on timely registrations and portfolio maintenance. Renata also conducted regulatory due diligences to support the business development area in M&A initiatives. Building on their success, Renata was promoted to Regulatory Affairs Director at Glaxosmithkline Brasil Produtos Para Consumo E Saude, where they led a high-performance team and integrated regulatory teams from three separate companies, delivering faster submissions and improving approval timelines. Renata also worked to improve the local regulatory environment and created new business opportunities.

Renata then joined Takeda as the Brazil & Latam Regulatory Affairs Director, responsible for managing multiple healthcare companies across Brazil and Latina America. Renata was a member of the executive committees and provided regulatory leadership for Takeda companies located in Mexico, Argentina, Colombia, Peru, and Ecuador.

Most recently, Renata has assumed the position of Global Head of Regulatory Affairs at Oxiteno, where they oversee regulatory affairs on a global scale.

Renata Dias holds a Graduação degree in Farmácia from the Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho, which they obtained from 1995 to 1999. Renata pursued further education by completing a Master of Business Administration - MBA in Gestão na Indústria Farmacêutica at FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas from 2005 to 2007. Additionally, they completed an Especialização in Administração de Empresas from Fundação Vanzolini in 2004 to 2005.
