Alessandro Cantarelli is a Senior Consultant at OXYGY. Alessandro was previously the Head of Marketing and Marketing director at MoneyGram International from October 2008 to December 2017. At MoneyGram, Alessandro was responsible for building the brand and engaging with customers across the managed territories to improve market share and CLV. Alessandro built a strong marketing team and worked closely with key stakeholders to adapt strategies to different market maturity levels.
Before joining MoneyGram, Alessandro was the Category Manager at Zero9 S.p.A. from March 2004 to October 2008. In Zero9, they managed the community business unit with responsibility for communication and marketing activities, as well as product development, editorial management, and product income statement. Under their leadership, the team developed the dating chat product commercially, leading it to contribute significantly to the company’s turnover. They also introduced a fully integrated omnichannel platform in Italy and among the first in Europe. In addition, Alessandro developed an in-house digital marketing unit and introduced a content management platform to improve customer activities and engagement with products.
Alessandro Cantarelli has a Bachelor of Business Administration from Università Bocconi in International company management. Alessandro also has an Italian Graduation from Liceo Scientifico Statale "P. Nervi" and an American Graduation from Lewis-Palmer High School.
