Janne Lehto

Janne Lehto has had a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Janne started their career in 1995 with a Master Thesis at Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska h??gskolan. Janne then worked as a Project Engineer and later as a Project Director at YIT - Construction and Building company, where they were responsible for underground construction, tunnelling, and mining projects in Finland and Sweden. Janne'srole included managing major projects and introducing new technologies to the tunnel construction market. In 2006, they joined Normet Group and held several positions, including Vice President - Equipment Development & Offering, Director of Tunnelling Business Line, and Vice President, EMEA. Janne was responsible for product development, portfolio management, and sales support for regional teams. From 2008 to 2016, Lehto served as the President of EFNARC, where they oversaw the Nozzleman Certification Scheme. Janne also held leadership roles at MTR - Maanalaisten tilojen rakentamisyhdistys - FTA - Finnish Tunnelling Association, serving as both Vice President and President. In 2018, they joined FORCIT Group as the Director of Bulk Fleet, Forcit Explosives, and later became the Director of Sales & Service, Explosives Finland. In 2021, they also began working as a Lecturer at Tampere University. Lehto's work experience showcases their expertise in underground construction, tunnelling, explosives, and leadership in professional associations.

Janne Lehto completed their Master of Science degree in Rock Engineering, Mining Engineering, and Ground Engineering from Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan from 1989 to 1995. Janne later pursued further education in Business Administration and Management, General, earning a Successful Export Management degree from the Management Institute of Finland MIF Oy in 2006 and 2007.
