Dan Lucraft

Dan Lucraft is a software engineer who currently leads engineering at Oyster. Dan has over seven years of experience in the industry, working with various companies on a variety of projects.

Lucraft began their career as a contractor with Funding Circle UK, helping to build a new streaming platform for lending using Kafka. Dan then spent a year as head of engineering at CharlieHR, where they oversaw the development of the company's HR software.

In 2018, Lucraft took on a contracting role with Skiller Whale, implementing features in a courseware platform using React.js and Rails. Dan then spent a brief period as a technical advisor at Stairway before joining Oyster in 2019.

Dan Lucraft has a Masters in Mathematics from the University of Durham, and has also done post graduate study in Algorithm Design from Imperial College London.

Dan Lucraft reports to Tony Jamous, Chief Executive Officer. They work with Innes Bailey - Professional Services Leader, Miranda Zolot - General Counsel, and Mark Frein - Chief Workplace Officer.
