Matt Grooby

Matt Grooby has extensive work experience in the mining and pharmaceutical industries. Matt started their career as a Student Process Engineer at Anglo American in 2010. From 2012 to 2016, they worked at OZ Minerals as a Plant Metallurgist, where they focused on process plant production, project management, and asset life-cycle assessment. In 2016, they joined Jurlique as a Project Engineer before moving to Mayne Pharma in 2017 as a Project Engineer. At Mayne Pharma, they served as a Project Lead for site expansion studies and was responsible for equipment procurement, commissioning, and coordination with production teams. In 2019, they joined Inception Consulting / BHP Olympic Dam as a Senior Process Engineer, where they worked on project studies. Currently, they are working as a Project Lead for Carrapateena Processing Expansion at OZ Minerals.

Matt Grooby has a Bachelor of Engineering (Chemical) from the University of Adelaide. Matt also completed a Graduate Diploma in Metallurgy at Curtin University and a Graduate Certificate in Project Management at the University of South Australia.
