Matt Scott

Matt Scott is an experienced mental health professional and educator with a diverse background in counseling and teaching. Currently serving as a Mental Health Counselor at The Green Room Counseling Services, Matt oversees the therapeutic care for LGBTQ+ clients in collaboration with Gay Resources of the Ozarks. With over a decade of experience at Ozarks Technical Community College, Matt has held multiple roles, including Adjunct Instructor, Diversity Educator, Academic Advisor, and Recruiter/Retention Specialist, contributing to initiatives aimed at enhancing diversity, equity, and inclusion. Additionally, Matt served as a Certified Career Counselor at Missouri State University, engaging numerous students in career exploration and planning. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling from Missouri State University, a Master of Fine Arts in Acting and Directing from Regent University, and a Bachelor of Science in Theatre from College of the Ozarks.
