James E. Wood

Dr. Wood is the Integrated Leader, Pre-Clinical, Clinical and Medical Affairs Sports Medicine and Shoulder at DePuy Synthes and is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon. He is the former Department Chair of Orthopaedics at MedStar Harbor Hospital in Baltimore, MD and completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at the University of California, San Francisco. Dr. Wood is widely recognized for his pioneering work in partial knee replacements and is passionate about matters concerning total joint costs and patient outcomes.
