Karl Bendy

Karl joins the Kermit team with a rich background in hospital materials management and healthcare administration. Building quickly on his BS in Sports Medicine from the University of Detroit Mercy, Karl joined Horizon Sports Medicine in Michigan as its Head Athletic Trainer. His dedication to, and passion for, health and fitness have been a hallmark in his life to this day. In 1999, Karl found himself at a crossroads and capitalized on an opportunity to take the helm of American Pain Care Clinic as its president which began a trajectory of healthcare administration and management.

He took an interest in supply chain and purchasing for healthcare and has served as the Director of Purchasing for Kern Hospital in Warren, MI, Director of Purchasing and Support Services at Southeast Michigan Surgical Hospital and the Materials Manager for Lakes Surgery Center in Bloomfield Township, MI. Through another series of events, he rose to the senior leadership ranks at Lakes Surgery Center, ultimately serving as its Chief Executive Officer.
