Richard D. Palarea

Richard D. Palarea is the CEO and Co-Founder of Kermit. Richard was previously with Dreamit Ventures where they were part of the 2016 Digital Health Cohort. Prior to that, they were with The Center for Spend Management Excellence where they served as President, Founder and Founding Member.

Richard has a wealth of experience in financial and administrative processes, expense reduction and spend management. Richard is a strategic thinker with a proven track record in a variety of areas including telecommunications, waste management, energy procurement, sales tax audit, property tax audit, 401(k) cost management, and more.

Through their work with CSME, Richard has helped to define a minimum level spend management approach and delivery of services that allows CFOs and CPOs easy access to pre-qualified experts in a variety of spend disciplines. Richard is also a strong advocate for furthering the practice of spend management through seminars, educational opportunities, networking functions and publications.

Richard is dedicated to helping businesses save money and run more efficiently. Richard is an expert in their field and is always looking for new ways to help organizations improve their bottom line.

Richard D. Palarea's educational career includes a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from San Diego State University as well as Woodrow Wilson High School.
