Josep Ballester

Josep Ballester has a diverse work experience. Josep started their career at Google in 2013, where they worked as a Business Associate Intern in the SMB Services team, assisting clients with their marketing strategies. Josep also participated in a Mentoring Programme during this time. In 2015, they joined Scewo, a startup focused on designing and manufacturing a wheelchair capable of climbing stairs, as an Operations Manager. Josep played a key role in developing and implementing the company's business plan and also assisted the engineering team. In 2017, they worked as a Business Intelligence Intern at Amazon, gaining experience in data analysis. Josep then joined ETH Zurich as a Master Thesis Researcher, working on research projects until 2018. Since then, they have been with Paack, where they started as a Business Intelligence Manager, responsible for data analysis, before transitioning to the role of Strategy and Data Manager.

Josep Ballester began their education at Sant Ignasi-Sarria in 1998 and completed their studies there in 2010. Josep then enrolled at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya and obtained their Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering between 2010 and 2015. In 2014, Josep attended the IESE Business School for a course on Management of Business Cases. In 2013, they also participated in a Summer School program at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), focusing on Managerial Accounting and Financial Control. In 2015, Josep pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) at ETH Zürich in Management, Technology, and Economics, which they completed in 2018. Later, in 2021, they attended the IESE Business School again for a program on Artificial Intelligence for Executives.
