Karen Boone, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, currently serves as the Director of Training at PACCAR since March 2015, and holds the position of Director on the Board of Directors for Seattle SHRM since 2014, where a passion for connecting members with volunteer opportunities is evident. Previous experience includes roles as a Senior HR Business Partner for Amazon, Director of Human Resources at Merrill Gardens, and extensive HR leadership positions at various organizations such as Pharmacy OneSource, Puget Sound Energy, and Expedia, Inc. Educational qualifications comprise a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Psychology from Lewis & Clark College, along with multiple Master's degrees in Organizational Behavior and Organizational Leadership from the University of Hartford.
