Emily Randig is a Stormwater Design Engineer at PACE Advanced Water Engineering, a position held since July 2022, following a role as a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant at Kansas State University from August 2020 to May 2022. During the graduate tenure, Emily conducted research on monitoring harmful algal blooms using Excitation Emission Matrix fluorescence spectroscopy and explored the implementation challenges of Anaerobic Membrane Bioreactors in confined animal feeding operations. Prior experience includes serving as a Stormwater Intern at PACE Advanced Water Engineering, where responsibilities entailed preparing technical reports and surveying streambank erosion, and as a CAD Drafter at SPEC Services, Inc., developing civil and structural drawings for petrochemical projects. Emily holds a Master’s degree in Water Resources Engineering from Kansas State University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona, along with coursework completed at Long Beach City College.
