Alex Shye

Alex Shye is an accomplished technology leader with significant experience in product management and engineering. As the co-founder and CTO of Pace since June 2020, Alex has developed an app for online talk groups that facilitates live video interactions among members. Prior experience includes serving as Product & Engineering Lead at Clinc, Inc., where Alex was instrumental in creating user-facing AI admin tools, and as Product Manager at both Castle Global and 8fit, contributing to popular digital products in social networking and fitness, respectively. Alex's earlier career includes roles in startups, research at Qualcomm, and a summer internship at Google, complemented by a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Northwestern University, alongside degrees in Computer Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder and the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
