Alvin Thomas

Alvin Thomas is an experienced spiritual care provider with a strong background in counseling and pastoral care, currently serving as a Spiritual Care Provider at PACE Southeast Michigan since July 2023, addressing the needs of the geriatric population in Macomb County. Alvin has been a Grief Counselor with the SandCastles Grief Support Program since 2018 and has held various roles with the General Council of the Assemblies of God since 1997, including Ordained Minister and Associate Pastor, with a focus on the Southeast Asian community in metro-Detroit. Previous positions include Hospice Chaplain at several organizations, including Henry Ford Health and Brookdale, and Bereavement Counselor at Residential Hospice. Alvin holds multiple degrees, including a Master of Arts in Counseling and a Master of Divinity, contributing to a well-rounded expertise in spiritual and emotional support.
