Nina Gonzaludo

Rare Disease, Pharmacogenomics, Transcriptomics - Global Lead at PacBio

Nina Gonzaludo has a diverse work experience in the field of genomics and pharmacogenomics. Nina is currently working as the Pharmacogenomics & HLA Market Development Global Lead at Pacific Biosciences, where they lead strategic initiatives and marketing campaigns for various genomics segments. Prior to this, they worked at Illumina as a Senior Health Analytics Manager, where they focused on data analysis for Market Access research and supported clinical applications of whole genome sequencing.

Nina's academic background includes a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences and Pharmacogenomics from the University of California, San Francisco, where they conducted research on the use of electronic medical record-linked biorepositories for pharmacogenomic application and discovery. Before that, they worked at Roche Pharmaceuticals as a Bioinformatics expert, applying machine learning methods to pharmacological data and analyzing gene expression and clinical trial data.

Nina also gained experience as an intern at MicroDiscovery GmbH, where they implemented statistical and computational methods for diabetes research, and at the German Institute for Nutrition Research. Nina began their research career as an undergraduate at Stanford University School of Medicine.

Nina Gonzaludo holds a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences and Pharmacogenomics from the University of California, San Francisco. Nina also has a Master of Science (MS) degree in Biomedical Informatics from Stanford University and a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biomedical Computation, also from Stanford University.
