Ryan Buchner

Ryan Buchner has a strong background in finance and analysis, with extensive experience in financial planning and analysis, operations finance, and global analytics. Ryan most recently worked as an Associate Director of Financial Planning & Analysis (Commercial Finance) at an undisclosed company starting in November 2023. Prior to that, they held various roles at Illumina, including Associate Director of Finance, Senior Manager of Finance, and Manager of Finance, focusing on operations finance, FP&A, and global analytics. Ryan also worked as a Consultant at Vaco and as a Senior Financial Analyst at Pactiv. Ryan began their career as a Supervisor of Supply Chain Finance at Unilever/Alberto Culver and as a Cost Accountant and Finance Systems & Operations Analyst at Sigma-Aldrich. Throughout their career, they have received recognition for their leadership and contributions to cross-functional project teams, as well as for their expertise in SAP implementation and process improvement projects.

Ryan Buchner earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) with a focus on Management Information Systems (MIS) from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2001. Ryan later pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance and Accounting at Washington University in St. Louis, completing it in 2007.
