Vicky Lam

Vicky Lam has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Vicky is currently working as the Associate Director of Portfolio Management and CX at Pacific Biosciences since July 2021. Prior to this, they were associated with Illumina for a significant part of their career. At Illumina, Vicky held various positions including Sr. Manager of Portfolio Management, Manager of Portfolio Management, Sr. Product Manager of HiSeq Portfolio, Product Manager of HiSeq Portfolio, and Associate Product Manager of HiSeq X. Vicky started their journey at Illumina as a Senior Research Associate in August 2008. Vicky also briefly worked as a Synthetic Chemist at ChemDiv, Inc and as a Laboratory Assistant at American Life Science Pharmaceuticals, Inc.

Vicky Lam's education history includes completing a Mini MBA in Marketing from Marketing Week in 2020. Vicky also earned a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry with a Chemistry emphasis and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from UC San Diego, which they obtained from 2003 to 2008. Additionally, they hold certifications in Product Management and Project Management from UC San Diego Extension, obtained in 2017 and 2015 respectively.
