Jennifer Ochoa

Jennifer Ochoa is currently a Marriage and Family Therapy Intern at Sunnyvale School District, beginning in August 2023. Previously, Jennifer served as a Special Education Teacher at Palo Alto Unified School District during the Extended School Year program, where responsibilities included leading a special day class and developing targeted curriculum for students' IEP goals. From August 2019 to June 2022, Jennifer worked as a Special Education Instructional Assistant, supporting students with diverse needs in a community classroom. Jennifer's experience also includes roles as a Behavior Specialist at the Center for Social Dynamics, a Medical Interpreter at World Services, and an Educational Interpreter for the Santa Clara County Office of Education. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from San Jose State University, a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the same institution, and an Associate of Arts in Psychology from Foothill College, along with a Certificate in Spanish Translation and Interpretation.
