Bina Ali is a Senior Research Scientist at the Pacific Institute for Research and Evaluation since 2017, where leadership is provided for CDC-funded overdose data evaluations and HRSA-funded child injury and violence prevention projects. Simultaneously, Bina serves as a Professorial Lecturer at George Washington University since 2016, advising Master-level students and assessing their competency mastery. Previous experience includes roles as a Faculty Assistant and Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Maryland from 2011 to 2015, focusing on research studies related to substance use and mental health, and as a Research Associate and Graduate Research Assistant at Georgia State University from 2008 to 2010, investigating health behavior factors. Bina holds a PhD in Behavioral and Community Health from the University of Maryland, an MPH in Public Health from Georgia State University, and a BS in Psychology from the University of Georgia.
