Michael Scherer

Michael Scherer is an Associate Research Scientist at the Pacific Institute for Research and Evaluation, with experience in preparing articles for peer-reviewed journals and conducting advanced data analyses using SPSS, STATA, and M-Plus since August 2014. Prior to this role, Michael served as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, focusing on alcohol use disorders and related co-morbidities from July 2010 to July 2013, where responsibilities included grant preparation and data management. Michael also completed a psychological internship at the University of South Carolina, providing therapy and conducting assessments for college students. Michael holds a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology and a Master’s degree in Rehabilitation Science, both from Virginia Commonwealth University.
