Tessa Miracle is a Research Scientist at the Pacific Institute for Research and Evaluation, with a diverse background in public health research and evaluation. Previously, Tessa served as a Faculty Member and Primary Investigator for the College Prescription Drug Study at The Ohio State University. Tessa's role as a Contractor for Ohio's SafeRx Evaluator at INTERACT FOR CHANGE involved oversight of data collection for community health initiatives, while also coordinating Ohio’s Strategic Prevention Framework for Prescription Drugs Grant, focusing on prescription drug misuse awareness and prevention. Tessa's early career included roles as Program Director for the Healthy Campus Partners Project at Wright State University, managing prevention strategies across multiple college campuses, and as Project Manager for the Montgomery County Prevention Coalition, providing research support for substance abuse prevention efforts. Tessa holds a PhD in Public Health Education and Promotion from the University of Cincinnati, and Master's and Bachelor's degrees from Wright State University in Applied Behavioral Sciences and Biology, respectively.
