Anmarie Medin is a highly experienced professional in the field of historical archaeology and cultural resource management. Currently serving as a Senior Historical Archaeologist at Pacific Legacy, Inc., Anmarie previously held the position of Cultural Resources Manager at the California Office of Historic Preservation from July 2015 to March 2020, where responsibilities included managing regulatory reviews under Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act and consulting with various federal and state agencies. Prior to that, Anmarie was the Office Chief for Cultural Studies at Caltrans from September 2009 to July 2015, focusing on the renewal of the 2014 Section 106 Programmatic Agreement and providing support on complex Section 106 compliance issues. Anmarie holds a Master of Arts in Cultural Resources Management from Sonoma State University, a Conflict Resolution Certificate from UC Davis Extension, and an OSHA 40-hr HAZWOPER Certificate in Safety Compliance Management.
