Head Of Customer Experience at Pacific Life

James Legeman is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in customer experience, innovation, and strategic transformation within various industries. Currently serving as the Head of Customer Experience at Pacific Life since June 2017, James leads multiple product and UX teams to establish a new Employee Benefits business centered on customer experience. Previously, James held several key roles at Pacific Life, including AVP of Customer Journey Transformation and AVP of Corporate Innovation, where significant initiatives were launched to enhance digital transformation and foster innovation. Additionally, James is an Adjunct Professor of Strategic Innovation at the University of Southern California, where insights into growth strategies and design methodologies are imparted. Prior roles include Senior Design Lead at IDEO, Co-Founder of Network Assignments, Manager at Deloitte, and serving as an F/A-18 Fighter Pilot in the US Navy, showcasing a strong foundation in leadership and strategic thinking across diverse environments. Education includes an MBA from USC Marshall School of Business and a BA in Political Science from UC San Diego.
