Michael T Shishido

Michael T Shishido has a diverse work experience in the radio industry. Michael T started their career as a Music Director at KIKI Radio in 1982 and later became a Program Director at KSSK-FM 92.3 from 1987 to 1997. From 1998 to 2006, they served as a Program Director at Salem Media of Hawaii, overseeing three radio stations. Michael T then worked as the COO/Dir. of Programming at Ocean Network from 2006 to 2010. After that, they joined Ohana Broadcast as the Program Director of 94.7 KUMU from 2015 to 2019. Simultaneously, they also worked as the Creative Services Director/On-Air DJ at Ohana Broadcast, conceiving, writing, voicing, and producing radio commercials. In 2007, they started their own company called Michael T Creative, specializing in writing commercials for businesses. Lastly, in 2019, they joined Pacific Media Group as the Creative/Production Director and briefly worked as a Morning Show Co-Host.

Michael T Shishido earned their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Communication from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. Michael T attended the university from 1978 to 1982.
