Ajay Karakoti

Ajay Karakoti is a seasoned Materials Scientist with extensive experience in academia and industry. Currently employed at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory since September 2022, Ajay has previously served as an Associate Professor at the University of Newcastle and held key roles in startup companies, including Co-Founder and Director at Latent Heat2Comfort Technology Pvt. Ltd., and Co-Founder at Parisodhana Technologies Pvt. Ltd. Ajay's earlier academic positions include Adjunct Faculty and Associate Professor at Ahmedabad University, where involvement spanned research and mentorship. Prior experience includes a Principal Scientist role at Battelle India and a Post Doctorate Research Associate position at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory. Ajay earned a Ph.D. in Materials Science from the University of Central Florida and advanced degrees in Corrosion Science and Chemistry from esteemed institutions in India.
