Baraa Werghi

Baraa Werghi is a highly skilled researcher with extensive experience in chemical engineering and occupational health and safety. Currently serving as a Postdoctoral Research Assistant at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory since November 2023 and as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Stanford University since November 2020, Baraa has previously worked as an Occupational Health and Safety Specialist at Aramco from August 2019 to October 2020. Baraa's academic background includes a PhD in Chemical Engineering from KAUST, where research was conducted from 2014 to 2018, as well as a Master's Degree in Chemical Engineering from Université de Rennes I and a degree in Industrial Chemistry from INSAT. Baraa has also gained practical experience through internships related to quality assurance and regulatory compliance in various organizations.
