Jeffrey Czajka

Jeffrey Czajka is a Pauling Fellow and Postdoctoral Researcher at the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory since February 2022. Prior to this role, Jeffrey served as a Graduate Student Research Assistant at Washington University in St. Louis from August 2016 to December 2021, and as a Research Assistant at the University of Michigan Department of Chemical Engineering in early 2015. Jeffrey also gained practical experience as a Chemical Engineer Co-Op at DTE Energy throughout 2014. Academic credentials include a PhD in Energy, Environment & Chemical Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis and a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Michigan. Jeffrey's research includes the production of isobutanol using Escherichia coli and Trichoderma reesei, along with contributions to publications in computational biology and hands-on experience in process improvements and lab management.
