Katie Morrice

Katie Morrice is an Earth Scientist at the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, focusing on marine energy and ecosystem science. Previously, Katie served as the Environmental Lead for the U.S. at Simply Blue Group and as the Environmental and Permitting Lead at Deep Blue Pacific Wind. Other roles include Marine Scientist at Boston Government Services and ORISE Science, Technology, and Policy Fellow at the U.S. Department of Energy. Katie's academic background includes a PhD in Environmental Science and Engineering from Oregon Health & Science University, along with a Master's in Marine Science from Moss Landing Marine Laboratories and a Bachelor's in Biological Sciences from Smith College. Notable research work includes modeling juvenile Chinook salmon habitats and assessing climate change impacts on water supply and ecosystem health.
