Maren Disney

Maren Disney has extensive experience in communications and technical writing, currently leading communications for the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory's PNNL-Seattle office since October 2014, where collaboration with scientists and engineers translates complex research into accessible content. Prior experience includes serving as a Communications Specialist at CH2M HILL, where Maren produced publications for significant projects, and a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Eastern Washington University focusing on technical writing education. Maren has also held positions such as a Communications Intern at Washington Closure Hanford and a Technical Writer at Central Washington University, where promotional materials and marketing strategies were developed. Maren holds a Master of Arts in Rhetoric, Composition & Technical Communication from Eastern Washington University, a Graduate Certificate in Security and Resilience Studies from Northeastern University, and a Bachelor of Arts in English with a minor in Spanish from Central Washington University.
