Weili Xu

Weili Xu currently serves as a Senior Building Energy Research Engineer at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, where responsibilities include managing task-oriented tools for energy compliance and leading a team focused on developing applications for building energy code workflows. Previous roles include Chief Technology Officer at Tech Prefab and BuildSimHub, where significant contributions were made to construction management platforms and cloud model management, respectively. Weili's early career involved research and internships at Carnegie Mellon University, DesignBuilder Software, Toshiba, and Autodesk, focusing on building energy modeling and performance data analysis. Weili holds a PhD in Building Performance and Diagnostic from Carnegie Mellon University, alongside a Master’s degree from the University of Rochester and dual Bachelor’s degrees in Engineering from the University of Nottingham and The University of Nottingham Ningbo China.
