Anubhav Singh Nahar

Postdoctoral Researcher at Pacific Northwest Research Institute

Anubhav Singh Nahar is a skilled researcher with extensive experience in microbiology and antifungal resistance. Currently, Anubhav serves as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Pacific Northwest Research Institute, focusing on the role of quorum sensing molecules in antifungal resistance since March 2022. Prior to this, Anubhav held a similar position at Temple University from March 2019 to March 2021, investigating the role of iron in host-pathogen interactions and antifungal resistance. Anubhav’s earlier work at the Institute of Microbial Technology from July 2010 to March 2019 included the development of genetic tools for K. marxianus and culminated in a PhD thesis on the molecular mechanisms of Amphotericin B resistance in yeast. Anubhav began academic pursuits as a Master's student at Punjabi University from July 2006 to October 2008.
