Shannon Bowen

Shannon Bowen has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of nonprofit fundraising and leadership. Their most recent role is as the Chief Advancement Officer at Pacific Northwest Research Institute. Prior to that, Shannon founded and served as the CEO of Monsoon Leadership, an organization dedicated to training the next generation of development leaders and promoting healthy workplaces.

Shannon also has experience as the Senior Director of Development at the Center for Environmental Health, where they oversaw a successful multi-million dollar fundraising program and led a team of five. They played a key role in transforming a failing development program into an effective and strategic one.

As the Vice President of Development at Making Waves Foundation, Shannon fundraised for both the foundation and Making Waves Academy, leading a multi-million dollar strategy and managing a high-performing team.
