Valerie Miller

Valerie Miller started their work experience in 2008 as a Professional Outdoor Instructor at Bradford Woods. Valerie then worked as a Recreation Program Coordinator at the City of Unalaska, Department of Parks, Culture, and Recreation from August 2010 to January 2011. Valerie joined the YMCA of Greater Seattle in 2004, where they held various roles including Interim Program Supervisor from March 2014 to September 2015, Challenge Course Facilitator and Camp Counselor from an unknown start date to September 2015, and Associate Teacher from April 2011 to March 2014. In 2013, they briefly worked as an Outdoor Instructor at Collin County Adventure Camp from August to December. Valerie had a short stint as a Life Enrichment Coordinator at Brookdale from May to July 2016. Valerie'slatest work experience is as a Warehouse Worker at Pacific Office Automation since January 2016.

Valerie Miller's education history begins in 2002 when they attended Green River Community College and earned an Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree in Generals. Valerie then continued their education at Brigham Young University - Idaho from 2004 to 2007, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Recreation Leadership with an emphasis in therapy. In 2009 to 2010, Valerie attended Highline College to pursue a Certificate in Personal Fitness Training.

In addition to their formal education, Valerie has obtained several certifications. In March 2016, they obtained the Accreditation of Challenge Course Technology II from Northwest Teambuilding. Valerie also holds certifications as a Belayer and Challenge Course Manager from the YMCA of Greater Seattle, although the specific months and years of obtaining these certifications are not provided.
