Irene Aitkens

Irene Aitkens has a diverse work experience in various roles within the marketing and communications field. Irene is currently employed as the VP of Communications and Event Manager at Pacific Premier Bank since 2023. Before that, they served as the Director of Community at iTrustCapital, overseeing social media, PR, and event activities from March 2022 to October 2022. Irene also worked as the AVP of Communications Marketing Manager at Pacific Premier Bank from June 2021 to March 2022 and as the Social Media & PR Manager at New American Funding from June 2020 to June 2021.

Prior to these roles, Irene was employed at SQ2 Media, LLC as the Sr. Events and Marketing Manager from March 2018 to June 2020. Irene contributed to executing turn-key marketing programs and developing full events and conferences. In addition, Irene worked as the Sr. Event Manager at EZ Event Production from August 2014 to February 2018, where they played a key role in event marketing plans, event planning, and handling logistics.

Irene'scareer began as a Marketing Coordinator at Vertical Marketing Network from May 2012 to May 2014, assisting clients such as Dannon and House of Castello Cheese in integrated marketing campaigns and programs. Irene possesses skills in social media management, website and SEO development, project management, and is proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office Suite.

Irene Aitkens received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication from California State University San Marcos from 2006 to 2011. In 2021, they pursued a certificate in Entrepreneurship Essentials from Harvard Business School Online. Prior to their higher education, Irene attended Laguna Hills High School from 2002 to 2006. Additionally, Irene has obtained certifications in Brand-Building, Digital Marketing, and Content Marketing from the Association of National Advertisers in 2022.
