Jenise Trinidad Coates

Jenise Trinidad Coates is an experienced educator and program manager with a diverse background in anthropology, elementary education, and community service. Currently serving as Program Manager at the Pacific Pride Foundation, Jenise is focused on developing new programs for North Santa Barbara County, including a county-wide Syringe Services Program and unhoused outreach initiatives. As a Professor of Anthropology at Allan Hancock College, Jenise creates lesson plans and fosters strong student relationships to promote academic success. Previous roles include Director of Education at the Guadalupe-Nipomo Dunes Center, where Jenise developed curriculum and community programs, and various teaching positions within school districts, highlighting a commitment to culturally relevant education. Jenise's educational credentials include a Master’s degree in Elementary Education from Western Governors University and multiple degrees in Anthropology and Behavioral Sciences from California State University, Fresno, and Allan Hancock College.
