Trent Poe

Pre-construction Engineer P.e. at Pacific Rim Mechanical

Trent Poe has a diverse work experience in the engineering and construction industry. Trent started their career at H.L. Moe Plumbing as a Plumbing BIM Detailer, where they were responsible for assisting in the design process of water, medical gas, and natural gas systems for commercial construction projects. Trent also communicated with project managers and contracting trades to ensure smooth coordination. After that, Trent worked at EMCOR Group, Inc. as a Mechanical Design Engineer, where they developed mechanical plans for DX systems and conducted thermal load calculations for air conditioning and heating equipment. Trent also performed audits to analyze inefficiencies in HVAC and lighting systems. Following that, they joined OPTIMUM ENERGY DESIGN as a Mechanical Engineer P.E., where they continued their work in mechanical engineering. Currently, Trent is working at Pacific Rim Mechanical as a Pre-Construction Engineer P.E. Their experience includes a range of responsibilities such as coordinating design processes, performing calculations, and developing plans.

Trent Poe obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from California State University, Northridge, which they attended from 2011 to 2013. Prior to that, they acquired collegiate credits in General Studies from College of the Canyons, where they studied from 2008 to 2010.

In addition to their formal education, Trent has also earned certifications to further enhance their professional qualifications. In June 2013, they obtained an EIT (Engineer-In-Training) Certification, although the institution from which they obtained this certification is not specified. Later, in June 2018, Trent attained a Professional Engineer (PE) Certification from the NCEES (National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying).
